Bio

PAT POSNER has written around 200 books – from board books to Middle Grade novels.

She lives on a hill farm in Lancashire, England, with her husband. They are owned by two rough collies, a host of wild creatures and the farmer’s sheep who peer in at Pat’s study window when she’s writing. When she isn’t writing – or often when she is – Pat likes cooking, baking, walking, reading and listening to country and western music and songs from the 40s & 50s.

As well as her own titles, Pat has adapted Fairy Tales and Classics and written many licensed character titles (Wuzzles, Moondreamers, Sylvanian Families, Gem, Glo Friends and Enid Blyton’s Enchanted Series) – a mixture of story books, activity books, doll-dressing, games and complete Annuals. She was a copy-writer and character developer for My Little Pony products and M. L. P. Fan Club and the main writer of My Little Pony comics, books and Annuals (in UK) for six years. She wrote scripts for the Sylvanian Families Video and developed characters and wrote story-lines for Bassett’s Jelly Babies.
