Emma Stevenson was born and raised in Birmingham, England.
Emma studied Illustration at University College Falmouth in Cornwall, England. She graduated in the Summer of 2006.
Emma specialises in Natural History Illustration, but only started painting wildlife in her final year at college.
It was whilst on a college field trip to New York, just prior to graduation, she was offered her first book deal by Holiday House Inc.
Emma has worked as a freelance Illustrator ever since.
