Doreen lives & works with her husband, two sons & one eccentric Jack Russel in a wonderful Victorian house in a small town in NJ. In fact, her dog Rosie can be seen gracing many of her illustrations. She works in three dimensions using polymer clay & creating creatures & humans, colorful animals & nature scenes. She also works with pastels, gouache & colored pencil, two dimensionally. Her whimsical style has been used for children's books, nature series, magazines, surfaces, games, puzzles, greeting cards & advertising.
