As a child, David Sheldon was always drawing and painting the natural world with a highly original and imaginative viewpoint. Currently, he's bringing the same imagination as author/illustrator of "Barnum Brown: Dinosaur Hunter" (Walker and Company -Fall 2006). On another front, using his middle name, Quentin, as a pseudonym, David has also begun a series of delightful novelty books for young readers for Harper Festival, "Monster Halloween" (Fall-2006), "Let's Be Friends!" (Summer-2007). David uses watercolors and acrylic, India ink, and colored pencils for his illustrations. He always enjoys broading his range with new techniques and is not above bringing the computer into the mix as well. Over the years, David has developed a reputation as a creative, dependable and enjoyable professional to work with in the Children's Market. |
