Chris Case was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up on the move throughout the eastern U.S. coast and rural Ohio.  He completed his Illustration studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  He picked up a degree in Education while he was there, and he also had a year and a half long law school run that continues to confuse the people who know him best. 

Chris creates comics in addition to his book illustration work, and enjoys both art forms very much.  He has created several book proposals, one of which is currently being considered for publication.  Chris and his dashing teacher-wife Sabrina have settled happily in Eugene, Oregon, with their two dogs, Emma and Sydney, who have been and always will be an unapologetically overused source of book material.
