Bio

Brooke grew up in a small town in Georgia where she used to sneak away from her class to visit the library. As a young girl, she dreamed of living inside a picture book. Realizing she was a little too big to fit, she decided to write them instead.
Since then, Brooke’s poetry for children has appeared in children’s magazines and storybooks around the world. She is a devotional and family writer for the Christian Broadcasting Network and a devoted volunteer with the Hugs and Hope Foundation.
She lives with her husband Chris and their four children, Alex, Brock, Emily and their new baby Jack.
