Barry Gott wrote and illustrated humorous greeting cards for several years at American Greetings, before exhausting every possible way of saying 'Happy Birthday'. Since 2002 he has sat in a comfy chair in the attic, illustrating children's books and other fun stuff. Sometimes he also visits schools to share his love of art and storytelling, and to eat tater tots from the cafeteria.
