Barry Gott graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and no job skills. He somehow landed at American Greetings as a humorous writer and illustrator, making frequent use of the word 'booger'. Since 2002 he has worked full-time from his home in the wilds of suburban Cleveland, where he often daydreams about having hobbies or leaving the house.
